As many have said, the strength of the Tavoliere land is given by the fact of it being one of Italy's most beautiful places. Not only for the enchanting landscapes, but also for the great amount of historical sites which, starting from the Apulians, have been left behind by all the different people who in time have chosen to live this land.
The area appears as a melting pot of different environments which go from the Gargano promontory, to the Tavoliere plains, to the Daunia hills.
Ever since ancient times Apulians, Romans, Byzantines, Normans and now our same civilization, have been able to wisely cultivate the expanses of wheat, giving added value to our lands that have always been naturally favourable to this cultivation, basic part of the main Mediterranean Diet element: Pasta.
